Male White-crowned Sparrows learn one song their entire lives and rarely leave from where they are raised. This leads to distinct dialects forming and those that live on territory edges can become fluent multiple dialects. They're mostly seen in big bushes and lower parts of trees. There's a White-crowned Sparrow named Roger who has lived in a bush at the corner of Alamo Square Park since I moved here 3 years ago. He sings beautifully.
